MSG Obesity: Cause And Effect Understood
MSG obesity has the characteristic of making weight loss difficulty even on a low cal diet. This is a condition created my mankind. A bold statement. Unfortunately, it is true. This food additive is classed as a flavor enhancer. It is used with abandon in processed foods and is common in restaurants.
Although msg occurs naturally in some foods (like beets),
it's effects from natural source ingestion doesn't seem to pose a problem. The reason for this could be the result of micro-nutrients or trace nutrients in the food that act to counter its effects. Makes sense, but it is a hypothesis. The link between msg and obesity becomes clear when you look at what goes on in science and their labs. With the rise of obesity in North America, a huge market has opened. Companies have weight loss products that they want tested. The only problem is that lab rats don't just naturally get fat. And they need fat rats to test their products. The solution was to give the rodents msg to cause weight gain. Sometimes the msg is injected when they are very young. It then works to make them fat as they grow to maturity.
Sidebar Scientific research papers cite msg as the method of making the rats fat so that the research may be carried out. You can view these at the
National Library of Medicine (opens new window).
This exemplifies the necessity of getting msg out of your children's diet. Therefore decreasing their chances of getting msg obesity as they grow up.Let me ask you...
